Hello, my name is Dan Maynard and I am the owner and publisher of Piano Keyboard Reviews. I’ve been playing the piano for 43 years! Wow I am really dating myself. Life moves on though. Dan is also an avid videographer and YouTube marketing expert. He’s done videos on YouTube such as online marketing how to succeed online and the school of internet marketing.

I have a passion for writing and pianos, hence the reason for this blog. Duncan (sitting on my lap in the photo) is my trusty companion when I am busy writing to Piano Keyboard Reviews. Duncan generally sits by my feet while I write and if I am playing my Yamaha CP300 stage piano, Duncan, who loves music, will lie down by my feet…which can make it a bit difficult to reach the pedals at times.

Since our children are grown up and just my wife and I at home, we decided to get a dog 18 months ago. We chose a “Westie“, which is the popular name for the West Highland White Terrier breed. I grew up with one during my childhood.

Duncan is the “Top Dog” and mascot for Piano Keyboard Reviews. He loves music and he always sits by me when I am working on my site. The photos were taken at Lake Louise in Banff National Park in Alberta.

Duncan needed a break from all of the driving and we took a small detour to Lake Louise on our way to Vancouver from home.

Here’s a photo of my lovely wife, Christiane, Duncan and I. Christiane does help me with my web site, getting the word out on the web so that people who need help with buying a keyboard can find the site.
