I own the Mo 8 n my intentions were to record music on it and then save it to a flash drive and pull it up in the studio so I could then record the vocals on top but I cant figure out how to get the music to my flash drive and as you know, nething created on the Mo that isn't saved is lost once you turn the power off. If neone knows a number I could call or nething to help me please let me know...

Any suggestions for a first time buyer? Home use, piano lessons for my son but other pianists in the family. Thanks.

The Yamaha MO8 is great. Sounds are awesome and the keybed is fantastic. The primary limitation I'm finding is polyphony (only 64 instead of 128 like the Motif for live sounds - you get more in sequence mode). I've already learned to max it out with live performances.

But I picked mine up new at the Guitar Center for $1225 on sale...so I'm not complaining.

I just bought the MO8...seems very confusing (first wirkstation I have ever bought). Is the Korg M50 a better deal (yeah, it's $200 more, but if it is more user friendly, I will trade up...
