Nice, velocity-sensitive, action with after-touch... but NOT graded. Most people wouldn't know the difference, as long as there's a weight involved. Those of us that grew up on (real) ivory and wood, however, do. This is an outstanding keyboard in today's market... but please, use the proper terms in your review.

With respect, I would like to correct you on your "graded hammer action" comment. The keyboard action on ALL Kurzweil keyboards including the SP3X and PC3X are BALANCED HAMMER ACTION and NOT graded hammer action as you state here. All keys are the same weight as opposed to "graded hammer action" where lower notes are heavier than higher notes. Personally, this has been a slight off-put to me as I prefer a graded hammer action. I'm not sure about the keyboard action on their newest furniture-styled digital pianos although I do know that balanced hammer actions as opposed to graded hammer actions have been used in the past for such models also. For most piano-based musicians, the discernment between "balanced" and "graded" hammer actions is vital and proves to be a big swaying point for some potential buyers.
